ob Summary

Responsible to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, legal, regulatory, and organization procedures. Monitors department policies and procedures to ensure that the Finance Department supports the overall business objective.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategy Management : Actively support development of BG Strategy Statement and Annual Operating Plan as per Corporate guidelines. Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
  • Drive day-to-day business performance through timely release of accurate financial results and forecasts, analysis and monitoring of key business performance metrics including margin control, brand/ customer profitability, NPD, SKU rationalization, etc.
  • Develop and present detailed financial feasibility plan including capacity expansion projects, pricing strategy, cost structure and investment for various business scenarios.
  • Monthly review of financial performance and ensure achievement of short-term and long-term operational and financial objectives in line with the company objectives.
  • Implement a robust financial reporting system to monitor the performance, its flow of funds, adherence to the budget, expenditures, income, and other budgetary items.
  • Interact with cross functional teams and address their financial information requirement for better decision making and controlling in line with business objectives.
  • Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit control, management, costing and accounting.
  • Lead/actively support cross functional cost saving/ optimization, efficiency improvement, revenue/margin maximization and other BU/Corporate initiatives.

 

KPIs

  • Top line and bottom line achievement.
  • Growth rate in volumes, revenues and new markets.
  • Working capital management.
  • Cost savings and cost reduction programs.

 

Work experience requirement

  • 12+ total work experience post financial qualification.
  • Must have worked in FMCG manufacturing company and/or Sales Distribution company of FMCG products.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as CFO, Head of Finance of the Business unit.

 

Qualification

  • Bachelors/Post graduate degree in Commerce
  • Additional Degree CA/ICWA/ACCA/ICMA/CPA or MBA in Finance added advantage
