Job Title: Brand Sales Manager

As a BSM/Channel Account Manager, you'll be the bridge between the company and its channel partners. Your role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, driving sales through channel programs, and ensuring effective communication. You'll collaborate to develop marketing strategies, provide training, and work towards mutual business objectives. Success in this role requires a keen understanding of Symantec's products, the cybersecurity landscape, and the ability to navigate and optimize channel partnerships.


Responsibilities:
Channel Partner Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
• Collaborate with partners to understand their business goals and align them with Symantec's objectives.
Sales Strategy Development:
• Create and implement effective sales strategies through channel partners to achieve revenue targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Training and Enablement:
• Provide comprehensive training on Symantec's product portfolio to channel partners.
• Ensure that partners are well-equipped to effectively promote and sell Symantec solutions.
Strategic Planning:
• Develop and execute channel business plans in coordination with Symantec's overall business strategy.
• Identify growth areas and implement initiatives to expand market presence through channel partnerships.
Sales Support:
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to provide support and resources to channel partners.
• Assist partners in navigating the sales process, addressing challenges, and closing deals.
Performance Monitoring:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess partner performance against these metrics.
• Implement corrective actions and strategies to enhance partner effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications:
Industry Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of the cybersecurity industry and knowledge of Symantec's product portfolio.
Sales and Negotiation:
• Proven track record in channel sales, with strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
Communication:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Strategic Thinking:
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with overall business objectives.
Collaboration:
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Problem-Solving:
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex business challenges.
